Happy Valentines Day

BarnOwls-Free Art License

Since the faces on these two Barn Owls each form a natural heart I thought this photo would make a nice Valentine’s Day greeting to all the Birds and Blooms fans.  The owl on the left is a male and the one on the right is a female (credit to Wikipedia Commons which is the repository for this  ‘Free Art Licensed‘ photo) .  Though these two owls are  from the Netherlands, Barn Owls are also found in much of the U.S., a small part of Canada, and throughout Mexico, Central and South America.   Here is a a video aptly titled “I’m your little Valentine” that shows more pictures of these pretty owls and includes some basic information about them (from a youtube channel, My Wildlife Videos, that supports wildlife and their habitat).

Hope you have a happy Valentine’s Day.
