I recently returned from a birding and wildlife photography to Ecuador. Although I’ve been to Ecuador twice before, I never get tired of visiting this beautiful country. During this trip, I spent time in the Andes Mountain all around Quito. We visited both the eastern and western slopes and found over 500 species of bird in under two weeks!
For me, one of my favorite parts of spending time in Ecuador is the wonderful bird photography. Many of the species come in to feeders. Whether it’s one of the many hummingbirds coming into the feeders or tanagers and others visiting banana feeders, there’s always something to take a picture of!
The following photos are some of my favorite shots that I got during my recent trip.
