For those of us in the United States, our most common crane is the Sandhill Crane. Every spring, I listen for the wonderful sound of this species as it passes over my yard on its northward migration. No matter whether you are a serious birder or not, if you hear the bugling of the Sandhill Cranes you will certainly take notice. Have you heard this species?
