These backyard beauties prove that a little bit of bloom goes a long way. They are the finalists in the “Blooming Beauty” category of our Backyard Photo Contest. Now your vote determines the winner.

Purple Accents “This Virginia spiderwort is one of my favorite blooms,” writes Tom Weber of Wadsworth, Ohio. “My wife planted it right in front of our house, and I love its delicate petals and soft purple accents.”	Looking up at Tulips “I had to stick low to the ground to get this shot,” says Susan Bailey of Raleigh, North Carolina. “I love looking at the pinks and greens from a different perspective.”
Two for One “When my daylily bloomed last summer, I was surprised to find an unexpected million bell petunia cozied up next to it,” writes Sandee Cosby of Richmond, Virginia. “I think the two make a striking couple.”	Frosty delight “This black-eyed Susan bloomed in October, thanks to some warm weather,” writes Sondra Cabell of Independence, Iowa. “This frosty morning brought an end to its out-of-season color, but not before this final delight!”
Hidden hibiscus “This hibiscus grew in my yard last spring,” says Roxanne Lehman of Tigard, Oregon. “It’s gorgeous, opening in the morning and closing at night.”
