Georgiana Antochi-Crihan is a freelance writer specializing in insect ecology and identification. Georgiana has a bachelor’s degree in ecology, evolution, and environmental science and a master’s degree in plant science. She is passionate about science communication and has spent over three years volunteering with her local entomological society as a bug ambassador.

In addition to organizing outreach events, she also curates an annual social media advent calendar to connect readers with the tiny, often overlooked critters in their backyard.
